Shipping Policy
Southern Workout aims to deliver within 2-10 working days (within Australia) from the date of any order which we accept but we cannot guarantee any firm delivery dates. All orders are dispatched within 3 business days of being received, with the exclusion of sale events or peak seasons where further delays may occur. We generally cannot send deliveries to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, etc due to the size of some of our products; in which our team will contact you in such case, however small items such as supplements can be delivered to said locations.
Deliveries can only occur on Monday through to Friday between 9am-5pm. We cannot advise you the exact day and time delivery will occur however, we will email you the tracking details and the freight company contact details and they can provide you a better estimation of the time.
All national deliveries are curbside only. If there are delivery obstructions—like stairs, steep driveways, low branches, or elevators—our freight courier may redirect the shipment to a local depot. The customer is then responsible for arranging and covering any extra delivery costs.
On delivery of the order, you may be required to sign for delivery, unless you grant us ‘authority to leave’, which must be added to the note of your order. You need to keep receipt of the delivered order in case of future discussions with us about it.
You may grant us an ‘authority to leave’ when placing your Order. If you do, you understand and agree that this authority to leave gives us and/or our selected couriers permission to leave the Order in question unattended by the front door – or, where applicable, at the reception or concierge’s desk – of the delivery address without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location. In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the Orders delivered and left unattended, and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery.
Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your Order and arrange for cancellation of the Order or delivery to an alternative delivery address.
You must take care when opening the Product so as not to damage it, particularly when using any sharp instruments.
If you are not available to take delivery or collection, we may leave a card giving you instructions on either re-delivery or collection from the carrier.
If delivery or collection is delayed through your unreasonable refusal to accept delivery or if you do not (within one week of our first attempt to deliver the order to you) accept delivery or collect the order from the carrier, then we may (without affecting any other right or remedy available to us) do either or both of the following:
- Charge you for our reasonable re-postage fee and/or other costs reasonably incurred by us; or
- No longer make the Product available for delivery or collection and notify you that we are immediately cancelling the applicable Contract, in which case we will refund to you or your credit or debit card company as applicable any money already paid to us under the applicable Contract, less our reasonable administration charges (ie. postage charges)
If you are looking to refund an item, freight and delivery expenses are considered a separate service and will be passed on to the customer. To facilitate this, Southern Workout will deduct the shipping cost from the eligible reimbursement amount (price of products purchased) and pay this to the courier directly on behalf of the customer. The Southern Workout team will discuss these costs with you prior to processing the refund.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
- All items will have a shipping cost unless otherwise stated or are part of a free shipping promotion. The cost of freight varies for each customer depending on their location.Â
- We can deliver PO boxes provided it is a small item. If we are unable to, our staff will contact the customer and arrange a new delivery location.
- Deliveries will be made from Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm only.
- It is your responsibility to advise us;
- From time to time you may not be home when delivery is attempted, you may be required to pick up your delivery from the freight company's closest depot. In some instances this may involve a redelivery fee depending on the size of your order
- Upon confirmation of dispatch we will email you tracking details which will help give you a rough estimation of delivery time. Occasionally these emails are blocked by your SPAM filter or placed in your junk mail folder.
