This is a no-bullsh*t, back-to-basics formula designed to bring together the key ingredients you need around training in one convenient product.
When it comes to MAD formulas, Mad Science focuses on what you need, not simply what’s trending.
Back to Basics. Everything Your Body Needs. Nothing It Doesn’t.
We were tired of buying multiple products, mixing them together and carrying half the supplement cupboard to every workout.
So, Mad Science made something for you, and for them.
Why MAD Recovery?
MAD Recovery was designed to help fuel your training, support recovery and provide your body with key nutrients before, during or after exercise.
Instead of relying on multiple products, MAD Recovery combines carbohydrates, essential amino acids, creatine, glutamine, HMB and key electrolytes into one comprehensive formula.
One product. Multiple purposes. No unnecessary hype.
Whether you're training hard, competing in sport or simply pushing yourself towards your next goal, MAD Recovery is designed to help give your body the nutritional support it needs when it matters most.
THE MAD RECOVERY FORMULA
CARBOHYDRATE BLEND - Fast Fuel. Sustained Support.
For our carbohydrate blend, we've chosen Dextrose and Maltodextrin.
Both are rapidly digested carbohydrate sources, but their molecular structures differ.
Dextrose is a simple glucose that can be rapidly absorbed and used as an energy source.
Maltodextrin is made up of linked glucose molecules and is digested somewhat more gradually.
Together, they provide a practical combination of carbohydrate sources designed to support training fuel and post-exercise recovery.
EAA'S - The Essential Building Blocks
Essential Amino Acids are amino acids that your body cannot produce on its own, meaning they need to come from your diet or supplementation.
MAD Recovery contains all nine essential amino acids:
-
L-Histidine: Involved in protein synthesis and normal physiological processes.
-
L-Isoleucine: An essential branched-chain amino acid involved in protein metabolism.
-
L-Leucine: Plays an important role in stimulating muscle protein synthesis.
-
L-Lysine: Contributes to protein synthesis and other important bodily functions.
-
L-Methionine: An essential amino acid involved in protein synthesis and metabolism.
-
L-Phenylalanine: An essential amino acid used by the body to produce other amino acids and important compounds.
-
L-Threonine: Contributes to protein synthesis and the formation of structural proteins.
-
L-Tryptophan: An essential amino acid used to produce important compounds including serotonin and melatonin.
-
L-Valine: A branched-chain amino acid involved in protein metabolism and energy production.
Nine essential amino acids. One complete EAA profile.
CREATINE MONOHYDRATE - Proven. Simple. Effective.
Creatine Monohydrate is one of the most researched sports nutrition ingredients available.
Creatine helps support the body's ability to rapidly regenerate energy during short-duration, high-intensity exercise.
That makes it a staple ingredient for athletes and anyone looking to support strength, power and high-intensity training performance.
L-GLUTAMINE- Supporting Your Recovery
Glutamine is one of the most abundant amino acids in the body and plays a role in recovery, protein metabolism and other physiological processes.
HMB - Derived From Leucine
Beta-Hydroxy-Beta-Methylbutyrate; or HMB, has been researched for its role in supporting muscle protein metabolism, recovery and maintaining muscle tissue, particularly during periods of demanding training.
ELECTROLYTES & MINERALS - Training means sweating. Sweating means losing fluids and electrolytes.
That's why MAD Recovery doesn't stop at carbohydrates and amino acids.
We've included a combination of Magnesium, Potassium and Sodium, along with Pink Himalayan Salt, to provide a broader electrolyte profile.
MAGNESIUM CITRATE
Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in hundreds of processes throughout the body.
It contributes to normal muscle and nerve function, energy metabolism and protein synthesis.
POTASSIUM CITRATE
Potassium is an essential electrolyte involved in normal muscle function, nerve transmission and fluid balance.
SODIUM CITRATE
Plays an important role in fluid balance, nerve function and normal muscle contraction.
We've used Sodium Citrate as part of the electrolyte blend to provide sodium support while maintaining the flavour profile of the product.
PINK HIMALAYAN SALT
Pink Himalayan Salt provides another source of sodium and complements the electrolyte blend.
Combined with the other minerals in MAD Recovery, it helps create a more comprehensive electrolyte profile designed for those who train hard and sweat hard.
SO, WHY MAD RECOVERY?
Because sometimes you don't need another complicated formula.
You need the right ingredients, in one place.
- Carbohydrates for fuel.
- EAAs for essential amino acids.
- Creatine for high-intensity performance.
- Glutamine and HMB to complement your recovery strategy.
- Magnesium, potassium and sodium to support normal muscle and electrolyte function.
All in one formula.
